Some scenes can be disturbing for some people like jerking off your sleeping (step) mother or your (step) sisters etc.
+ We have one DLC from point of wiew one of female characters and its gives good vision from outside of MC's point of wiew for understanding story better. + Choices are matter a lot and they can effect endings aswell, so its not just fap feast VN choices are not matter and you can skip without thinking. And having that much ending is pretty interesting for VN Game, so we should give our DEV right here, lots of game dont even make second ending those years and even now. Turner ending, Tracy ending, Alice ending, perfect ending aka the harem ending, the alternative perfect ending aka the harem ending with pregnancy, corruption ending and then bad ending. + We have pretty interesting and kind of original story. + Our render style and quality looks pretty good. + With Definitive Edition we got 60FPS proper animations and they look pretty good. Overall one of the better games on this site especially with the new animations and definitely a game everyone should check out except those who really don't like the kinks The writing, characters and narrative are all solid and engaging and have enough heft to keep the player engaged with the story. The animation quality isn't entirely consistent but it is way more good than bad. The addition of sex scene animations really turns up the heat on scenes that were already pretty good with to begin with. Dev does a nice job with framing and facial expressions too. It's got the bases covered with the character archetypes and they models are all great looking. Everyone else should give this game a go. The mind control and sleep sex are a turn off to some and if you are super averse to those particular kinds probably best to give this a pass. It's not perfect, but none of these games are, there all done by hobbyist and indie developers. The original version is one of the first AVNs i ever played along with Harem Hotel and it helped get me interested in the genre. And it ends up feeling pointless and unrewarding to advance. So, all in all, it's not a terrible game, but it isn't good either. And, at least for me, there were no bugs worthy of mentioning. And, as far as sound goes, I muted it since almost the beginning since I didn't like the music it played. Animations are so-so, a bit mechanical and uninteresting on many occasions though there is some improvement as the game progresses. And I don't get it why people call every other "roommate" or "landlady" when they clearly have the relationship of family, not of people sharing a flat.Īs far as render quality goes, the game has some pretty decent ones. So it ended up becoming a bummer and, even though I started readin everything with interest, it all ended up becoming a quick skip button mash. And, what is worse in this kind of game, it feel like choices have no impact in how things go on anyway. But the first problem with the story is how it develops, it has plenty of scenes that don't add much and many good ideas are lost on the way.
Don't take me wrong, it has some pretty decent ideas, even though all the "magic is real and there are secret organizations" is way too cliche. Dreams of Desire is a game that, for me, was somewhere in the middle, but ended up falling on the bad side of the line.
